This course is designed for those individuals who wish to bring shamanic healing to others -- individuals with a strong personal shamanic practice, including an ongoing working relationship with their helping spirits. It is not intended to provide personal healing.
Preference will be given to those who envision how they will bring these specific shamanic healing techniques out into the world to assist others: humans, animals, communities, institutions, the environment, the ancestors. Those persons who have completed the 2 Year Shamanic Intensive with Cecile Carson will be given special consideration.
The course will include training in:
shamanic extraction - removal of energetic intrusions
soul retrieval - return of life force lost through physical or emotional trauma
psychopomp training - escorting the souls of the dead on to the Light
shamanic practicum - integrating these skills in preparation for doing healing work, including practice with volunteers from the community who will come for the last day
Participants are expected to attend all sessions unless they have had one of the first 3 trainings elsewhere and do not wish to repeat it. In such a circumstance, the fee for the year will be prorated accordingly.

Dates for the program are:
April 24-25, 2010 - shamanic extraction (2 day)
June 11-14, 2010 - soul retrieval (4 day)
July 31 - August 1, 2010 - psychopomp training (2 day)
October 9-10, 2010 - shamanic practicum (2 day)
The training will be from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. each of the days.
Trainer: Cecile Carson is an experienced teacher and shamanic worker who has integrated shamanic principles into her Western medical practice. She has had extensive training through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies over the past 22 years, and has studied in Romani (gypsy) and Celtic traditions as well. She is also on the Board of Directors for the Society for Shamanic Practitioners, an international organization of individuals deeply committed to using shamanic skills to heal the spiritual aspects of illness in people, communities, business, and the environment.
